CLAY GUIDA ANNOUNCES MOVE TO UFC FEATHERWEIGHT DIVISION

Clay "The Carpenter" Guida announced this morning that he will begin fighting at the 145 pound Featherweight division in the UFC. The VFD Sports star has been a long-time fan favorite and top contender in the Lightweight division and he feels that now is the perfect time to take on a new challenge.

"The Carpenter is going to explore a new job site at the 145 pound division in the new year," Guida said. "I plan on making a run at the foreman or superintendent position right out of the gates. I hope you guys packed a lunch."

Guida will immediately become a top contender in the Featherweight division, one that is currently led by champ Jose Aldo. Guida feels that the addition of himself and former Lightweight champion Frankie Edgar will immediately change the dynamic of the division.

"It will be nice to finally be one of the bigger guys in the cage. I don't cut weight at 155, and making 145 will be no problem for me. My fans will get to see The Dude put some royal beatings on everyone in the division. I will not be satisfied until the Featherweight belt is mine," said Guida.

It's sad. Clay was once an exciting fighter, so was Condit, GSP, Sanchez, Stevenson, MacDonald. All of those Jackson turned into point fighting runners or destroyed them with "gameplan" all FOR MONEY.

Look at the guys Jackson's game playing turned into CHINNY WOMEN. Schaub, Jardine, Arlovski (partial blame he was 1/2 way there)

Cerrone ,Kedzie, Dodson, Villasenor, and Stann are the last ones with respect over there, and they will leave soon. Even Tim Kennedy is leaving the Chinny running greaser camp.

Condit has had one point fighting style fight and diego came on and almosted stopped ellenberger in his last fight. clay is the only one i can think of that has had a serious change in his fighting style and it worked when he was fighting low caliber guys like gomi and dos anjos. clay just has no offense so he lays on dudes. maybe he will be able to tap some naturally smaller guys.

for fuck's sake, i dont get the all hate thrown at condit for having ONE FIGHT where he wasn't UBER exciting. it was still a good fight, he did what he had to do and he won the fight. he will be back to old form kicking ass and taking names. well, maybe not against GSP. hmm. yeah this could be a bad night for him. but, i have hope!

and destroyed him with "gameplan"?? for money? dude, these guys need to win their fights they can't go out there windmilling and hoping for a KO every time. my problem isn't with gameplanners, it's with gameplanners that intentionally make boring fights every single time they go out there because they are scared to commit to anything. guys like GSP. for condit, that was his first fight in i think years that didn't end with him winning by KO/TKO.
