This DVD covers TNA's humble beginnings as a weekly PPV company from Jun 2002-Jun 2003that a lot of fans never watched. The format is a documentary featuring interviews from wrestlers and other personnel working in the company at the time with special moments inserted throughout. The main points of the documentary were

1) Nobody believed the company was going to last more than 6 months
2) The first year was a rough period but also a great learning experience
3) If it wasnt for the hard work of the people in the company that first year, TNA would not be around today

It is good to see a lot of the people from the very first show still with the company like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, James Storm, Jerry Lynn, Mike Tenay, Don West, Jeremy Borash. One of my favorite moments from that year was also included in the DVD. Ron Killings, who is really R-Truth, was defending his NWA Championship against Jeff Jarrett, when a man dressed in a white sweatshirt, white sweatpants and a white mask came in and smashed a guitar over Killings' head. I will not reveal who was under the mask, so watch the DVD or the old PPV to find out. You also get to see Ken Shamrock win the NWA Championship a few months before Tito Ortiz would give him one of the most brutal beatings in the UFC. This couldve been the start of a great DVD series covering TNA year 2 and beyond, but nothing has been made after this.
