the way men view women

I think alot of men have a fucked up idea of women.

They are either putting them on some pedestal and worshipping them as sex goddesses or they are taken over by the polar opposite viewpoint, letting misogyny take over and pretty much treating women like dirt - trying to fuck them all for pride or calling them whores etc.

Just look at your average rap lyrics, so full of hate and violence against women. Tupac himself said we need to start treating women better and that goes for all men imo not just blacks who are famous for slapping their hoes down.

I think that more men need to see women as they truly are. They are just people.

I think we realize this as children as long as our mothers arent monstrous but we forget this simple fact as time goes on and we are illusioned by society.

Next thing you know we forget how much we loved our mothers/sisters/cousins whatever and we start to see woman as souless material objects who will only date us if we are the best looking or have the most money.

While it may be true that we live in a shallow material world everyone needs to realize thats theres a spiritual world on top of it that plays by different rules.

I think everything I said applies for women as well with their talk about how men are pigs or dogs blah blah

I know I am not a pig or a dog and I know tons of intelligent and well mannered men who arent pigs or dogs.

I think nerds can get an especially fucked up view of women. Just look at how they are presented in comic books, movies and anime/manga. They all have huge ginormous tits and perfect wide round asses.

I mean it just totally feeds into the "escapism" of the individual. So mr. nerd might pass up a ton of great opportunities because he's been made to think he deserves Pamela Anderson or something unrealistic. Its gotta have something to do with how split and isolated humans are nowadays.

I mean I am not saying everyone should start liking ugly girls/guys but how about at least pay attention to who you are dealing with at any given tijme.

People have to startup workshops just to teach people how to date and interact in a non facebook way.

Once again it applies to women too with their stupid romance novels making them think every guy should be some dashing idea of perfection.

People have such fucked up expectations they just give up and don't even take care of themselves. They finally settle on someone convenient and they grow old and die without ever experiencing any true romance in their life.

If more people would just wake up and smell the roses I am sure they would realize everything they need to be happy and fullfilled is all around them at all times and they just need to put it together.

no not dating anyone currently and if I was dating a chubby chick I would not tell you guys or show you guys for her sake but it doesent matter because I would never date a chubby chick....

Look at it this way Beets.

There was a time when women were sorta like..bought and sold. Then came femenism and all that jazz.

As a society we evolved. For the past so many thousands of years however things were very different.

Would it be better if women were subjugated? Is that really what man desires and wants?

Theres a war going on against fundementalist Muslims and they are all about keeping women down.

....but then again they do objectify them less sexually, maybe because they can't see them under the costumes.

anyways my point is man is happier if woman are treated as equals, isnt that the basis of romance in a way?

It has nothing to do with dropping your standards. It has more to do with the way men and women have viewed eachother for thousands of years, its a curious phenomena when you think about it.

I think that men are definitely hyper-sexualized in western culture, and it definitely has a detrimental effect on our ability to create meaningful relationships with women. Here's a funny bit that was on real time
