waiting for this match to download made me remember the time I passed out drunk at a hotel in philly. fucking nigel mcguinness woke me up while he was stealing a pillow. low ki was the first person I saw and he said "Oh, so he is awake" (referring to me and talking to someone else apparently, while looking me directly in the eyes). bj whitmer was in between the beds, sitting on the floor, and leaning up against my bed. roderick strong was standing at the foot of my bed. and there was someone else I'm drawing a blank on who was laying on the floor near low ki I think. I can't remember that last person, I don't think it was homicide but it may have been.

anyway, that's a true story. never met any of them before that moment and never saw any of them again after. but it was pretty damn fucking cool to chill with them for a little while. fucking surreal to pass out and wake up to that.

it was a pretty nice night. I was front row for the ROH show. then had drinks in the hotel bar and got drunk with christopher daniels (who wasn't allowed to wrestle for ROH at the time and was just visiting), julius smokes, and I remember one of the guys from special K (one of the few that actually wrestled, I think it was izzy). then I woke up to nigel stealing a pillow and low ki staring at me.
