One of the most original and beautiful animes I've seen in a while. It's not all crazy facial expressions and fountains of blood and bullets if you're into that stuff, it's just a very odd and eery story that makes you think.
You can look it up and watch it for free at Hulu.com. Go like this:
click on TV >> Alphabetical >> Mushi-ishi
Unfortunately they don't have the whole series up, but still, worth a watch. While you're there, I think they also have Bleach and Death Note.
