New guy trying to train for Fairtex Muay Thai

I'm trying to join the new Fairtex gym in Mountain View,CA and I was wondering what kind of training should I do on my own so I don't look like a slouch? I already shadowbox w/ weights and Lift weights. I don't do much cardio although i'm trying to incorporate it into my routine more. What should I do.....weights or cardio?

I don't think that anyone will look down on you for being "slouch". If they do they are assholes and you should continue training just so you can shut them up!

Also, you are all there for the same reason right? YES!! The hardest thing to do is walk through the front door.

There's nothing to it but to do it.

i think the first time training you are going to look awkward. its like telling a pro football player to start swmming competitively. no matter how much you prepare, unless you do it
    the experience isn't there

Yeah, I was worried about looking like an idiot when I started taking classes at Team Quest, but everyone there has been super supportive, and if I get rag-dolled by guys who wrestled in college, well at least I know that I have good training partners.
