I rolled for an hour and a half, bruised my elbow up really bad, and then took a nap.

most of the swelling is down now.. but it was almost twice this size this morning.

maybe I should elaborate to keep the thread moving.

We have a Judo BB in our gym who just moved here from Hiroshima (I live and train in Ottawa in a hood of mostly Japanese/Chinese immigrants)
I got to roll with the dude today (lucky me!) and he threw me on my ass in about 4 seconds, my elbow came crashing down on the concrete floor while the rest of my body landed on the mat.
I havn't decieded yet if the problem is that I have ZERO Judo training... or if he's just a wrecking machine.

I do push-ups at 6:00 a.m. every day and then walk 14 city blocks to work no matter how cold it is. I also walk home so, 28 blocks a day. It's supposed to be 40 below 0 windchill tomorrow morning but I'll still do it.

Started with light bike riding but then a thunder storm started and had to get home asap so it turned into a bloody race. I got completely soaked the rain was so hard I couldn't see in front of me and it stung me as it fell. I kept going past street lights and was hoping the lighting wouldn't strike cos it was near by.

Long story short intense bike ride.

I was actually reading that at the edge of my seat. You should've made that into a full story.

"The rain clouded my vision like a professional tranny hides her package. The lightning crashed down upon either side of me as God seemingly tested my faith. I was in the land of madness, and I'd never felt so alive.

My heart raced as the lactic acid soaked through my legs, burning them alive. I was a mess of volcanic limbs, all screaming for me to stop, but I would not fail my lord.

This was my reckoning. I had accepted nothing but my success.

My wheels lost traction for a second and everything slowed. A bright light flooded over me and I became lost in it. Beyond the machine gun patter of rain and the vicious cracks of lighting, a horn ripped through my consiousness. Thats when the bike gave out and I smashed hard onto the ground, skidding and sliding as the light flew past.

I felt a cold whoosh of air on my face, seconds before sliding to a stop.

I stood up and looked back. An old man was running at me.

    "Mate are you okay?"

I nodded, wondering where this bald, obese being had arrived from.

"Dat was a tad to close for me aye. You were almost a meat paddy"

    I stared, confused completely.

    "What?"

    The man became more excited.

"If you hadn't slid son, I wouldve crushed you with my Slutty Sally over there".

I followed his hairy finger to a dark object a few feet off the road. As I walked closer my throat tightened. I touched the rough, rusted metal hood with my finger and shivered. I was looking at my own personal reaper.

"Aye, you want a ride home? Might make me feel a tad better after such a shakeup. I can't rightly have you ride along this death trap any further. Won't be able to sleep tonight."

    I shook my head.

"It's allright. I'm fine. It's only a short ways from here."

The man stared at me, not sure what to do.

    "Son..."

    I waved him on.

    "It's fine, trust me."

With a shake of his head he took off. I watched him drive back into the blindl mess of the torrential downpour. He disappeared quickly, the rain enveloping
him like a scared mother around her only child.

His speed was a might bit slower leaving then coming I'd have to assume. He was clearly shaken to the core. I, on the other hand, could not damper my glory with elderly safety. This was my day. I would not be held back by useless fear.

And so after righting my craft, I was off again, pedaling with the power of pure, clean adrenaline created after a life lived, and almost lost.

Within seconds my near miss faded from my mind. I became part of the bike. I felt my feet curl around the pedals as my body molded to the creature. We were one body, working in perfect symmetry, expressing our energy across the pavement at break neck speed.

We curved and weaved through the turns, feeling each movement as a smooth perfection. I had reached into another world where no harm could be done to me, where no evil could be wrought. I had found a blissful state of being. I had found my connection with God. "

Next time I'll put some effort into it.

2 days ago played 2 basketball game 3 v 3 to 21. then football 6(me) on about 15, which turned into a fight of 6 on 15 or so. i got a cut on my eye deep enuf to stick a pinky in up to the back of the nail from headbutting a guy in the chin, my homie got sucker punched and kicked in the face twice, and still got up for a one on one with a nig.
