- Tickets for the Royal Rumble will go on sale on December 29th. This year's show will be held at Madison Square Garden. The only other match confirmed thus far besides the Rumble itself is Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title.

ATLANTA (AP) - The Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission has scheduled a meeting today to discuss abuses in professional wrestling. The group regulates the state's boxing and mixed martial arts as well as ticket brokers.
World Wrestling Entertainment has threatened to pull out of Georgia if subjected to state regulation.
Professional wrestling also falls under the commission's but the WWE had been exempt thanks to a 2005 statute that excluded groups with total assets or more than 25 million dollars. Only the state Legislature can undo the exemption. WWE Attorney Jerry McDevitt said yesterday the group will leave Georgia if regulations are applied. In his words, "Almost every state knows, and has known for years, that wrestling is entertainment and not a sport."
- In a recent newsletter to it's Cyber Club members, Playboy announced that WWE Diva Candice Michelle will be doing a “girls spread” for the Playboy Cyber Club.
