i think calzaghe has been more tested than kessler. i don't wanna hop on the bandwagon just yet. i'll be safe and say calzaghe. even though he's getting old.
Kessler is going to win this one.. He's been underrated in almost all his fights and he has exceeded expectations by winning them e,g the Markus Beyer fight.

Beyer was a slick & crafty southpaw and he got hammered,as a matter of fact he was coming off a W over the power punching Danny Green but against Kessler he looked scared,overmatched and was never even in the fight.
Against Mundine,Kessler dictated the fight and beat the faster Mundine with effective long range power punching and nullifying Mundines usually effective and rapid jab.Personally I think Mundine would box the ears off Lacy.
Im impressed with Kessler and my moneys on him.

calzaghe wins this one. hes fought at a higher level. kessler couldnt ko mundine who was knocked out by ottke, this shows he isnt such a big puncher as hes been built up to be. the only other top fighter kesslers fought is a past it beyer. to the kid above who said their nothing till they have fought hopkins should know calzaghe hopkins was nearly signed, until hopkins decided to double what he wanted at the last minute.

Calzaghe is going to tool him like he did that overhyped shit yank Lacy.... Then Hatton is going to tool that overhyped shit yank that is Pretty Boy or whatever the fuck he thinks he is on dancing with the muppets.....
And who has Calzaghe beaten exactly? Lacy? The guy who barely won his last fight against a nobody? And I like Joe. But he struggled mightily against Bika... Kessler dominated every second against Andrade, Mundine and Beyer. Of all the top class guys nobody has yet been in even the same league as Kessler. And who said hes a power puncher? Hes a boxer/puncher who wins on cumulative damage. He has perhaps the best jab in all of boxing and uses it to devastating effect. Which will be weapon #1 against "The Pride of Wales"

According to a BMA study around 82% of men who took part in the vicious fights were gay before they started and another 12% became gay during their first fight.
The remaining 6% took part in cage fighting because they wanted to beat up gay men.
WOW! I was actually leaning towards Kessler in this one with him being bigger, and a better puncher IMO, but Calzaghe was magnificent. He spoiled Kessler's boxing (like Jim said) and WOW... can Joe take a punch!
I think Hopkins will be in trouble if he and Calzaghe ever meet up.

I kept missing his fights. This was the first I've seen. It was a good matchup and Kessler really showed something in the 2nd round but Cazaghe doesn't seem to let anything bother him.
Some moments of real good action in this fight.
Other than the one early uppercut Calzaghe proved he definately has a good beard which up until now was questionable. B-Hop doesn't want any part of that.
