I will and must agree with what Rory says here. That is how I quit and it works. you must crush up the remaining smokes you have and never touch them again.

Different strokes for different folks. That was how I quit the first time. I lit one up one day, it tasted like shit, I tossed it and the rest of the pack out the window and did not have another one for 3 years - until me and the wife were all drunk one night out with a bunch of friends and decided to share a cig for the buzz - 3 years later, I still don't smoke everyday, but I am smoking too much. All I have to do is get the wife to quit and I am home free.

The funny thing is that she quit to date me when we met 5 years ago. My buddy that introduced us told her I hated cigarettes and would never date a woman who smoked - I'm glad he did that, but I would have still fucked her!

If your lilly livered So Cal ass thinks you can handle sleeping in a tent in 40 degree PA weather at night, I would be willing to put the Gettysburgh camp trip off unitl the first weekend in Oct - if everybody else is of course. It can get pretty chilly up here that time of year, but hey - build a bigger fire I always say....
