"THE FOLLOWING IS A NEW ARTICLE FROM UFC.COM:

    06/12/2006
Four Added to Ultimate Fight Night on June 28
    By Thomas Gerbasi

The battle to get into title contention in the UFC is a tough one, filled with peaks, valleys and formidable obstacles along the way. On Wednesday, June 28th, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, eight UFC vets will look to move up the ladder on Spike TV’s Ultimate Fight Night.

In a light heavyweight clash, Branden Lee Hinkle will make his 205-pound debut in the UFC against Jason Lambert, who is unbeaten in the Octagon at 2-0.

Three welterweight fights also pack this stellar card, with Josh Koscheck facing former UFC middleweight champ Dave Menne, Koscheck’s AKA teammate Jon Fitch taking on American Top Team’s Thiago Alves, and TUF2 finalist Luke Cummo looking to build on his win over Jason Von Flue as he battles Canada’s Jonathan Goulet.

Ultimate Fight Night, which is headlined by a middleweight showdown between Chris Leben and Anderson Silva and also features a light heavyweight bout between Stephan Bonnar and Rashad Evans, will air live on Spike TV. "

Wow, Hinkle down to 205. This looks like a showcase match for Lambert, though Hinkle is a tough guy. Fitch and Alves should be great and I'm looking Goulet to really rebound from that awful 10 sec ko or whatever it was that he suffered against Bam. Too bad for Cummo - though this is a fight that could really help him develop, win lose or draw. Koscheck should handle a fading Menne and of course we've all gone over the other matches.

    Discuss.

I know that is what you are banking on, but I'm telling you - this is gonna be closer than you think. Leben is a tough kid and if Silva is looking past him, he could be in for a big shock.

WAR SILVA! Teh Spider will pwn. It may very well go to decision with Leben's chin though.

He still could be, the sub loss to Chonan he was dominating, and the recent loss to Okami was just because he didn't understand the no upkick rule.
