    *were....

Btw, "Life Expectancy" is hands down the greatest ending I've read in my life. The final sentence summed up The entire novel.

I found the novel in its entirety second to Relentless, but the ending of "Life Expectancy" puts life in perspective 100%

Just finished "The Long Walk" and it might very well be my favorite book of all time. The metaphor of the road of life we all choose to walk down, followed by those who accept their death before they've given it their all, further followed by what is waiting on the other side blew me away.

Epic novel, you all should read it.

About 240 pages into "It" and it's doing a great job building up. (see what I did there?)

The bit where the kid is in the windstorm and the clown shows up and offers Ben a balloon and they start flowing slowly towards him only going against the wind was a beautifully creepy touch. This book is going to be grand, 1,000+ pages to go..

I realize I said this before Ledger topped Nicholson as the Joker, but I don't see how anyone can top Curry as It. I hope this new film isn't just a cheap jump scare, by the previews it looks like they're going to make another part two, possibly part 3.

500 pages into it, and it's full of hype..

I have enough to keep me occupied, buying more is just redundant as I have probably 50-60 unread books.

It's just nice having them on hand.. just can't afford it currently..
I keep history and reference books so I can look things up. I can't see keeping novels around much like I never understood people keeping a large collection of DVD's or VHS tapes back in the day.. how many times are you going to read the same novel? Or is it like having trophies on a shelf to look at?

Always check Amazon used books.. I get a lot of mine for just a couple bucks
