True story which is why I don't watch boxing. This is what the UFC has become basically too. But ya kno we r not in there doin it so how can we judge a fighter for wanting to have as long and healthy a career they can have by fighting a lil smarter in what has become a rather deep talent pool.

What do you want to know? Pac suffered two losses in a row, one a brutal KO that shook the Philippines worse than the typhoon, so he needed to fight a ranked fighter who was tailor-made stylistically to make him look good, and Rios fit the bill perfectly.

Rios is a good slugger with very little boxing or defensive skills to speak of, who is slow enough (like Margarito was) to let Pac jump in, shoe shine, and jump out without taking any significant damage. Unlike Margarito, who was a legit 154lber and much bigger than Pac, Brandon was coming up from 140, so he didn't have the size to really bother Pac.

This was little more than a "tune-up" fight to try to get Pac back into contention for another mega payday fight, because according to reports Pacquaio is going broke because he's an idiot with his money (like most boxers).

he lost most his money in the recent elections when he and his wife both ran for office.

its also humoured that he's big into gambling like cockfighting, etc. plus he supports all of his siblings and of course his mother.

Yes, all that + his entourage expenses (apparently he has assistants for his assistants).

He just hemorrhages money.

Now Bob Arum is saying "We're ready to sit down and talk about a Floyd Mayweather fight". Yeah, no kidding. Now that Pac is going broke and has lost 2 of his last 3.

He should have manned up and took the test.

He didn't lose two of his last three. Nobody in the boxing world actually believes Bradley won. He got brutally KO'd by a GSP training partner working out on a BALCO regimen. JMM Was literally obsessed with Pac and broke any rule (literally wouldn't be surprised if he doctored his wraps too) that he felt would give him an advantage. He finally got it and won. Pac wins again in a rematch.
