With #1 Brown Pride, Cain Velasquez and #2 Junior Dos Santos, is scheduled to happen November 19th, UFC fans finally have two of the best HW's fighting for the belt. Meanwhile the Strikeforce tournament continues with Barnett defeating Rogers and Ubereem defeating Werdum. Now the final four are set and whether the eventual tournament champ will be able to claim the #1 Heavyweight spot remains to be seen. The possibility of Strikeforce's Heavyweight's joining the ranks of the UFC's Heavyweights in the future is awesome.

Jon Jones defeating Shogun with ease hurt our Pride. Meanwhile Rashad Evans getting injured means a in shape looking Rampage will be getting the shot on September 24th, fresh off his victory of Matt Hamil. In Strikeforce, champ Dan Henderson will face fallen Last Emperor Fedor Emelianenko, thought not for the belt its a bout for the ages and not to be missed for true fans of the sport. Phil Davis's victory over Lil Nog moves him into the top ten, he is 9-0 and due to face Suga Rashad August 6th.

Middleweight

Pound for pound kingpin Anderson Silva is set to face Yushin Okami, at UFC 134The fight is a rematch from the 2006 Rumble on the Rock tournament where Okami defeated Silva via a controversial disqualification, thus making Okami the last fighter to 'defeat' Silva. Meanwhile Mark Munoz and Brian Stann both enter the top ten with victories over Demian Maia and Jorge Santiago. Borderline top ten fighters Jason Miller and Michael Bisping will face each other after landing coach positions on the latest The Ultimate Fighter.

#2 Pound for pound fighter, Georges St Pierre, defends his belt against Jake Shields and will now face Strikeforce's champion in a title unification match. Both fighters have not lost a fight since 2007. With 9 and 10 fight winning streaks respectively. Rick Story moves into the top ten with a win over Thiago Alves, he will next face Nate Marquardt at UFC Live, June 26th.

Lightweight

Not much to report here. Gilbert Melendez is coming off a impressive tko of Tatsuya Kawajiri, Frankie Edgars last fight was a draw with Gray Maynard retaining his title, and Shinya Aoki had a hard time getting an opponent for his last fight, finally doing his thing with a neck crank of veteran Rich Clementi at Dream. Fight for Japan! Jim Miller and Clay guida both advance in the ranks, with a string of victories. The lower end is to close to call, Josh Thomson and Sean Sherk remain having only loss to the very elite but are likely to fade away if they dont get some good wins before a handful of fighters making thier way up the ladder do, notably in Guillard, Masvidal, Pettis, and Kikuno.

Featherweight

Jose Aldo just recently defended against Mark Hominick and is now rumored to face Kenny Florian. Florian who just earned a decison win over Diego Nunes in his debut fight, looks to be getting a quick push to the top. Hatsu Hioki has chosen not to defend his Sengoku belt and is rumored to be in talks with the UFC, if he joins he will be a welcome addition to the roster and who's elite grappling and submission skills all but guarantee he will soon be fighting for the belt soon. Marlon Sandro has joined Bellator to compete in their Featherweight tournament and if he wins he should face the winner of Joe Warren and Patricio Freire.

Bantamweight

Dominick Cruz will next face Urijah Faber at Bantamweight, his last three defenses against Scott Jorgenson, Joseph Benavidaz and Brian Bowles have cmented him as the betting favorite but Faber has alot of supporters. This fight takes place at UFC 132, July 2nd. Brian Bowles will also face Takeya Mizugaki at htis event. Benavidaz is set to face Eddie Wineland at UFC Live. Kid Yamamoto is set to break into the top ten if he can beat Damacio Page at UFC 135, September 24th.
