Is there a simple way to rename .NSV files. The reason I ask is because Youtube and Dailymotion will not allow you to upload files that contain certain tags such as "UFC" and so on. They are flagged.

So what is the simple solution?

You could right click then rename, but I'm not sure if that's what you mean though.

That does not work. The file becomes "unusable".

Do you mean the file name? or the text of the actual name it shows in somethigng like windows media player?

Well, I guess it would be the file name. Anything to get around the Youtube, Dailymotion flags. You upload on Dailymotion all the time. What do you do to make the files work. Have you never had a problem with this? THX

as long as you dont take the nsv off theres no reason why you cant change the name

I just changed the name of my file but that does not change the "actual" name apparently because the vid is still flagged. I should have no problem uploading a file simply titled "Coleman".

ufc.nsv = filename.extension

Does youtube allow the uploading of .nsv files? If so then just change the filename as you mention. Try something like you mention.

I assume youtube searches it's database by filename's, is this right anyone?

I am using dailymotion.com but the same thing happens with youtube. The file uploads but then at the end there is an error message stating that it has been atomatically flagged due to being inappropriate, offensive or copyrighted. This is after I change the name of the file by right clicking on it.

Wtf thats wierd man, I do not know why it would get flagged after you change the name of the file. I dont think theres anything that would say UFC inside the file after you change the name. It just doesent make sense and should work just fine, try using some nonsense word and not anything MMA related.
