I have heard this is an old myth, however, the muay thai academy nearby my house still does it. I was wondering if anyone was aware of tresearch behind any of this? It seems as though some loading of the bone would produce bone mineral density increases similar to loading of others sorts.

Invert calf raises, drink milk, hit the heavy bag, and etc..
all of those stuff helps alot.
but hitting trees, and breaking boards and shit, is to stupid IMO. Especially in MMA..Cause it's useless.
If you were in thailand competing, that would be a different story.
