50 is PLENTY. Its the whole reason I came over here from SHERDOG. However, it takes time for a site to grow on you. I think its immature to try and make membership super exclusive (especially since were all ALREADY members). You risk losing some potentially insiteful and community minded members by keeping them at arms length for too long.

The last thing you want to see is for this place to be full of "NO WHITE BELT THREADS" and STFU NEWB just like SHITDOG
