Know the first 16 athletes qualified
Scheduled for early May next year, in New Jersey, the ADCC 2007 already has its first 16 athletes qualified. Besides the 2005 edition’s champions, the athletes from North America are also in. So far it has eight Americans, four Brazilians and two Canadians guaranteed to participate at the world’s most prestigious submission competition.
The Brazilian qualifier is scheduled for the first weekend of January, in Rio. Further info can be found at www.floaerj.com.br.
Check out the athletes that have qualified so far. Roger Gracie, despite having qualified for the under 216 lbs category, due to his title on the last edition, should only fight in the superfight against Dean Lister.
