2. A sites reputation does not matter, look how many people diss Sherdog, even pro fighters. Its because search engine rankings, age of the site, size of community, advertising, amount of content and amount of backlinks are what makes a website popular. There could be a whole forum out there about assdick and it will have plenty of posters as long as it gets good search engine rankings. Its just how the internet works at this time. If you don't agree with me then I understand, just consider the fact that most of you are now here because of the dumbass troll threads I made at Sherdog about Tim Sylvia defeating Fedor and stupid shit like that. 4.I enjoy sick off the wall humor. Theres a reason why so many comedians tell dirty jokes. Its because when used right it can be hilarious. I agree its much harder to be clean and funny but as long as your not doing it in front of kids theres nothing wrong with it. If you dont think its funny thats fine because everyones different. This site is not for kids, Im going to put some legal warnings up soon and the only reason why I havent yet was because we've only had 1 young poster here who was 15 and I told him he needed to leave. The list goes on and on and when fighters do post it usually involves somekind of advertising whether it be for an upcoming fight or to sell books/cd's.

I think that size limit on sigs in general would be nice. Some of those things take up 1/3 of a page. Not just the AD's but others as well.

1.You can ignore users which will completely make them dissapear to you

2. You can turn off images, sigs and avatars while your at work or in front of the kids/wife/friends

3.you can use the archives as a perfect alternative

I like the freedom this site allows..thats the reason i post here and visit this site multiple times daily.I understand that pro fighters might find this sigs to be immature and not want to be part of something that does not have a ''legit'' feel to it though.I think as site and mma fans we are very loyal though and take mma very seriously. Ninja himself says he does not want pro fighters to post here. Now weather that is because he is scared how they will react when they see how we do things or beacuse he is content with how things are going and does not want to change that to gain something we dont really need is a question for him. I personally do not care if pro fighters post here and it has nothing to do with giving up my sig. I come here because it is laid back has a great group of people (the regulars anyway) and the freedom. With all that being said the call is Ninjas. This is not my site i am a member of his site and i would go with whatever direction he feels is best for it. In reality nothing ever really stays the same.

Wendy, I hope that as you continue to see the nature of this board, you can see that my actions were primarily intended as a joke. We have obviously discussed and resolved the issue, but one thing that is evident to a browser is that the 'Shoes has a bunch of odd people, each with odd senses of humor.

Honestly, when this place started to gain more members, and I saw trannies and some other stuff that I hate, I was a little grossed out. But overall, I can easily avoid most "offensive" material, if I want to, by changing my settings, or staying out of the asylum or other places outside the MMA forum. If you just want to talk MMA you may change your settings and remove avs and sigs and their should be no problems.
I have actually been one of the people to "complain" about the Assdicks and stuff like that. I don't have any serious problem with it whatsoever, I just think it is pretty gay. It is certainly nothing to worry about though, as I doubt the assdick avs and sigs will remain forever. And if they do, what the hells the consequence to me?

Ninja I applaud your sense of direction with this site. I tried other forums, boxing, MMA and open community but none seemed to really appeal to me. When I first began posting here I too was weary due to the insane shoutbox convos, but stayed because of the great threads and varied opinions in the MMA forum. I slowly came into my own here and even caught heavy flamage one night. I stuck with this site because I realized that it was intended and created for free-thinkers. This is a great site, and as Jimmy Persons had mentioned in a previous post, the Revolution is at your disposal. If you feel it has run it's course (before we have), than there will be no problem with us removing or changing things. With that said..I thank you for a great site and I hope things continue on as they were.

It's not as bad as you think..I was surprised to find some hilarious and very, very intelligent posts in the asylum. There is a lot of flaming and the occasional off-color remark, but all in all this site delivers like no other thanks to a multitude of people from various aspects of opinion.

For good or bad, that is the truth. We don't hide what this site is all about. We censor one thing, and that means another thing has to go. Ninjashoes has done a great job and I applaud his efforts to make this a unique forum experience in that full tolerance and freedom of speech is given here. If an individual doesn't like that(we have had many who dont) than so be it. Go somewhere else that fits you. There are hundreds of MMA website that are all the same.

Most of it is a weird and funny sense of humor. No, I do not condone, nor do I seriously think Richard Ramirez' actions were funny and/or justified, on the contrary, he's as sick an individual the world has ever known. Give him the right circumstances and position that hitler, stalin, mao, pol pot, etc... had and he would be equally as ruthless and notorious for sadistic genocide.

We here have a unique(and admittedly crazy) sense of humor, but we know the situations and weight of matters here. We also understand the tone of this forum and try to make it a lighthearted comical, albeit troublesome to people whore are thinskinned, lack our sense of humor, and/or have a different mindset then most of us here, that we can carry on enjoying each others company and conversations.

Well, this fighter's manager isn't going to be busting anyone for piracy. And yes, the fighters don't make a dime from all the UFC/etc videos and their pix used everywhere, so I'm guessing most are glad to have the publicity.
