I was the best man at a wedding yesterday.:grin: I spent the night at the grooms house Friday night to make sure he had help with any last minute wedding stuff.:rtfm: I was pretty stressed:no2: about the whole wedding toast thing and the catholic church ritual stuff that I didn't know didn't help my nerves:wacko: but I kept all of that hidden and did a pretty good job in my duties. I even had to sew on the grooms top button in his suit at the last minute before we followed the priest:rabbi: out to the wedding ceremony. The reception was a blast! We ate good, looked great in our tuxedos, and partied all night.:village8mf: They played various types of music and I danced:banana: to it all. Even the spanish stuff. Even made up some new moves for myself.:yu: There were a few nice ladies:brunette: and I took turns dancing with them. Actually, I danced with everyone at some point. One girl:flirt: who used to flirt:first_move: with me a bit and I got her number but never called:telephone: was pretty cold:girl_devil: towards me at the beginning but was singing in my ear during a slow dance later in the night.:blush2: Being the best man was a moment to shine for me a bit too I guess.:superman2: I took good care of the groom:king2: and bride:angel: all night and gave a short but strong:hulk: and loving:heart: toast:drinks: that set a great tone for the rest of the evening. The highlights for me were two different girls singing to me while we danced:ban-hump: and wildly swing dancing with another girl. I am taking the day off tomorrow to drop the honeymooners:whip: off at their cruise ship. I already paid for half of their honymoon:beach: as my wedding gift. I usually suck at getting gifts so it feels good to give a good one for once.:air_kiss:
