does anyone have a biography of him, or know about him.
i mean, why is his academy in england? and is he half english?
or....why does he have a white/european complexion to him, & not so much of a brazilian one, like the other gracies?
sorry if i come off as a little dumb, but i'm just curious, especially since the first japanese gracie was born not too long ago, and now it seems like the gracies are just becoming bigger and bigger, and more international.

ne he's not half englsih, he's full brazilian.
but they have academy's all over the world.
and the gracies are all over in brazil, so they sent him to england.
and what gets me is that he's 6'4, he's the tallest gracie.

I used to train with him in his academy in London. The story is basically his father, Maurcio Motta Gomes a Rolls Gracie black belt who looks like an older Roger, openend a BJJ academy in Birmingham 10 years ago and opened another two academies or so in England. He then went on to bring Roger and Felipe de Souza to teach at the academy.
Roger's mother is Reyla Gracie; his parents are now divorced. He is the grand-son of Carlos Gracie Sr and in the academy their is a huge portrait of his grandfather. Not of Helio. He used to live in Rio prior to moving to England and i think he used to train in Gracie Barra when he was there. Also he is a Carlos 'Carlinhos' black belt, he was not ranked by his father.
