Does the anime stick pretty close to the story because I wanna pick up where the show left off but I dont wanna miss anything.

the anime is similiar, slightly different, the anime didnt include some things from the anime, for various reasons, 1 being it was too violent and explicit(in the sexual type of explicitness) however the manga goes way beyond the story and is/was in circulation for over 15 years. i heard its hella sweet.

Read it from the beginning, it doesn't take too long and you will be glad you did. I posted this before but this group does a good job of translating it and is almost up to date with the Japanese release. LINK (http://www.thehawks.org/)

me too ninja. it's ALOT cooler than the show. only because it's so much more in depth and you get to see what happens after that 1st season on the anime.

yup, after you get passed where the show leaves off its fuckin intense, Ive been doing 12 hour long marathon sessions

I hope they make a new anime of the manga again...but I doubt they will do that
