Hey everyone,

I am in serious need of some help. In a nut shell I have lost the spark an drive that I once had. I use to be excited to go to my MMA, but I no longer enjoy it and it is no longer fun, it seems like work to me. Same with lifting and exercising. It used to be fun for me and a challenge that I enjoyed, but now its just a drag and boring for me. Any advice?

Not really man, everyone goes through that, though. It's really a personal thing, there's no one size fits all that will solve your problem. I just force myself even when I don't want to, and it's worked to some degree until now I guess.

Yeah we all have our ups and downs. Possibly take a week break and then get stuck back into it. You might feel different about your training and help you get motivated.

When i was having a motivation problem i switched gyms and got hauled. Beat up, tapped out and worked til i gassed out. It worked for me.

No reason why you cant take a break and quit for awhile. If your planning on competing then I would maintain a cardio workout every other day and keep up your nutrition. The work is the hardest part and if it was easy everyone would be Fedor.

Hey guys there were some great posts in this thread! You don't know how muh that means to someone like me who isn't an MMA fighter. Thanks a lot bros...

Watch Gatt-Ward I. You can find the highlight on subfighter.com (which is badass) or they may have the full fight in boxing forum (recommend the highlight, great pacing and music). Rocky is like Driving Miss Daisy compared to that shit.

RESPECT! I never saw the Gatti Ward Fight before but after seeing it it has got to be up there with the fights of the century! They were both 100% fit phyically but their mental strength was like a 1000%! Round 9 will live in history for immortality.... True fighters with warrior hearts! Great Post!; though I admit, that is quite strong stuff to be posted for this thread , since that shud be considered motivation at warrior level whereas the original problem here I think was that someone was too lazy to go gym....

Yah, it's strong medicine. Hard to watch and not feel like an absolute puss by comparison.

take your training up a few steps, try new exercises, find a exercise that would make u want to come back for more, always try to improve, get that will to get better and better.

jk I dont know shit on how to help you, but it helps me.

Lol, DBZ is my guaranteed #1 source of motivation.

But that's just me... you'll have to find out what works for you on your own.
