View Full Version : How Bad Are You?
Carl Emelianenko 11-30-2006, 10:51 PM How anal are you with your diet? (Note: Curb the jokes about the word anal for 5 goddamn minutes your assdickers)
I usually lift 4-5 days a week, depending on how busy I am, and run 2-3 times on non-lifting days. My diet is pretty strict, eating every 3 hours and all that shit. I haven't had anything that involves chocolate, a deep-frying process, or useless refined sugars longer than I can remember. Most of my protein comes from chicken, tuna, eggs/whites, turkey, cottage cheese, and whey; carbs from wheat bread, oatmeal, broccoli, some assorted fruits veggies; fats almost exclusively olive oil and natural peanut butter.
A lot of people bitch being in college or having a job makes this really hard to do, but I disagree. I've had only minor hurdles doing this and now it's routine. How strict are you guys with your training diets and workout routines?
Carl Emelianenko 11-30-2006, 10:51 PM For the record: this thread is really just out of curiosity, I guess there's not much point in it all.

ninjashoes 11-30-2006, 11:59 PM I eat what I want and use supplementation and excercise, I love to eat theres so many wonderful exotic foods out there I would never deprive myself even if that means not having a 6 pack
Carl Emelianenko 12-01-2006, 01:29 AM Yeah, food is good shit. When you get too serious about training it becomes an obsession.
blackass 12-01-2006, 03:46 AM You've got to have a loose but healthy diet most the time and get real serious 7-8 out weeks pre comp.
galenhousego 12-02-2006, 01:25 AM wow ur cool you brag about your strict eating and exercising program on the internet
Carl Emelianenko 12-02-2006, 03:28 AM Who said anything about bragging? I want to know if anyone else takes it to that level. I personally am fed up with it, but it becomes an obsession.
Oh well you're probably just a fat fuck anyway.
Tom Stall 12-02-2006, 06:00 AM i eat drink and smoke whatever i want.. until the 7 weeks it takes to get in shape

lol
svr01 12-09-2006, 11:53 PM I lift weights about 3 times a week, I go running once every 2 weeks or so and I do thai boxing 2 times a week. I don't look at what I eat actually, just try to eat something not too heavy before thai boxing, otherwise you really feel bad. So you have a lot more discipline then me when it comes to dieting.
Resin 12-10-2006, 12:49 AM i over train.
erskine777 12-10-2006, 08:51 PM well, for my first year in college i had to get a meal plan. so basically it's been chicken nuggets and pizza twice a day for the last 4 months. sometimes i might grab an apple if the ice cream machine is broken.
MMAsterkillah 12-10-2006, 11:55 PM Im not too bad. I usually know what I need to get done and do it. I don't worry about my food (maybe wrongfully so) but I push myself to exercise and thats all I worry about.
xhale 12-11-2006, 04:00 AM im bad to the bone.
