there are different groups around the country..the purpose of freecycle is to keep things out of the landfill...anyway, when people have stuff that they dont want anymore but it is too good to throw away they post it on this site (which you can set up to post directly to your email) and if you respond to their ad asking for it and they pick you then it is yours. I have got 25in TV's off here that were in great condition ...when people get new furniture they put their old funriture on there...Its really worth a look expecially if you dont have a lot of money and could use some home improvements....there's one in every area...let me know what you think..
