I think they just randomly ban people because of the enormous amount of bandwidth the server has to put out. I don't think they're making much money from the ads, either.

Sherdog focuses too much on how cool the mods are.

They have far too much power and you aren't allowed to voice your opinion on anything they don't agree with.

Members care far too much about post counts - Members with high post counts and early join dates think they're gods, members with low post counts and early join dates call people like me a troll because I joined in July and have over 500 posts. Most of those posts come when discussing live UFC events.

If people don't like what you have to say they'll call you a troll or write BAN or Pride>UFC or UFC sux or WAR *Random Guy*

Although Sherdog has a great fight finder and some really great members most of the people on there care far too much
