The rd whore train seems to be running low on steam indeed.

All kinda BJJ is what is up with me. I competed in the Gracie National Championships last week and lost a tough match on points 9-6. This saturday I have my blue belt test with 6th degree Helio Gracie black belt Pedro Sauer. After that there is a no gi tourney on Dec 3rd I am going to do and then I am going to get an MRI to see how bad my knee is and will hopefully only have to take a couple of weeks off. The rest of life is pretty much the same.

How are things with you and yours?I've heard good things about Pedro Sauer. He is or was in Utah for a while with a studio I believe.

I am jumping back into BJJ this month after letting my white belt sit in my closet for around 7 years. But I want to pay 6 months cash and I am trying to pay my regular expenses as well as help my friend pay for his honeymoon. So I might put in a little Saturday work (a la Rd) to help get ahead.

I am going to be the best man at my friends wedding Dec. 2nd. So I have to prepare a great toast/ speech as well as have the car packed for a week in Mexico in case he calls an audible.

My kid went to 6th grade camp last week and had some fun.

I'll be going to the Pittsburgh seminar (obviously) that is listed at the bottom of the page. He is a really cool guy, I had the opportunity to attend one of his seminars last year and am really looking forard to the opportunity to test for him.

Good luck with getting back into it - man is it great. I have lost 30 lbs, down from 215 since I really started training regularly. The bumps, bruises, strains and sprains are the only bad thing about it but it is worth it.

Have a great time at the wedding, I am sure you will give a toast for the ages...something also tells me that your buddy is not the first one to ask you to do them that honor.

Yeah, a 4 day science camp in the mountains with 3 hikes a day.

I used to be an assistant scoutmaster and I used to go to scoutcamp for part of the week to help the kids. I probably had as much fun as them. I remember making my own golf club with a knife and a dead branch and golfing in the forest on a couse an old man made with coffee cans and flags and a map. That was it. He gave us each a ball, scorecard, pencil, and map. Golfing in the forest with a handmade club is the best.

I also loved the hiking and climbing/ repelling.

god shut the fuck up now i am getting sick..every post is complaining...just stop posting for a few days then just start back in the mma section commenting on new users making gay threads to make them think theyre popular...hopefully we will find someone there to take the attention away from you (eg someone says serra will beat hughes/gsp for title etc)
