how long is campaign?

Yeah i picked it up too, its an awesome game, better then Halo2 in my opinion.

the campaign is pretty short. my friend and i beat it in about 4 or 5 hours straight. the best part of the game is online multiplayer, very addictive. one of the best games ive ever played

HALO Franchise is overrated

HALO is not overrated because console players haven't reallye experienced games like that. PC players have had Halo type games years before consoles had Halo.

THis game is great I can stop playing it. The story mode is good. I passed it already but the online play is where it's at. Going head to head against others is the best. I got to admit only 2 of the online boards are big the rest are pretty small. Then again is only 4 on 4 online not like other games that you have 16 ppl running around. It's great also because you can revive a downed friend and continue the fight.

Flanking random people with your buddies so that they can get chainsawed is priceless.

Already been stated but yeah, story mode is pretty basic. Online gameplay makes it a great game.

Co op makes this game amazing playing online and having a full screen playing co op with no lag is great. The single player looks amazing, even without hi def. In hi def its amazing to watch though. Best looking game ever, this game has set the bar for many games and will be ripped off for many years. BTW who ever has it 2 new maps will be availible to download for free tom!!

Yeah I play online, its really a great game. The first time I played online, it was so hard for me to get one kill. So im playing the game on Insane difficulty, and I have gotten way better since then. 10/10

I am to the end guy and this game is awesome. I usually don't play first person shooters, but this has got me hooked. I'm sure I will suck online, so I'll probably play it through another time on insane difficulty like someone else was saying.

I am going to be that guy here. I just played this for the first time at work yesterday and was very underwhelmed. I expected to be blown away by the graphics (which I wasn't) and the controls were a bit annoying at first. I felt like I was controlling a giant magnet with a gun. Don't get me wrong, I had fun, but I am not planning my day just to work it into my schedule. I might change my mind the more I play but so far, it is just okay. Damn you hype train!

One of my favorite games. The multiplayer is great and even though the single is on the short side it has great replay value. Plus the online CO-OP is amazing.

This game is definitely awesome. The multiplayer is probably the best I have ever played which is evident from the 100s of hours I have put into it. The story mode was alright but I just keep coming back to the multiplayer for more.

I have the Hi-def and all i can say is if you have a next gen system you should have a hi def tv, or else you are not getting the bang for your buck.

After playing Gears for awhile i decided I don't like it so much. Then again, I did not like Halo and Halo 2 either.

8-12 hours depending on how you play. Less if you do it coop.

You can join a campaign in the middle. Damn this is a really late answer. I am playing this right now if anyone wants to jump in. I am now one cog tag away from all of them which I am happy about right now.

Hurikain and I were just playing this and getting pwned at the beggining of the 4th chapter on coop. It was fun though, and the ninjabros will pwn next time!
