According to the latest news http://msn.foxsports.com/boxing/story/6168152 Oscar De la Hoya and Floyd Mayweather will finally meet. I am very excited to finally see this fight signed. De la Hoya may be past his prime but he will prove to be Mayweather's toughest opponent to date.

I see this fight as very close, with Mayweather taking a majority of the early rounds. But being the optimistic and De la Hoya fan that I am, I have De la Hoya with a 7th round KO over Mayweather.

Oscar's been at 154 for a while, that's why I believe he'll out last Mayweather's early assualt and knock him out in the 7th or 8th round.

De la Hoya's purse for this fight is at an estimated 25 million dollars guaranteed, with more on the back-end depending on PPV's.

Theres no way Oscar has it in the bag, This is a fight that no one will be able to pick a winner easily, I am only picking Oscar because he is bigger

I hope to god all of you guys bet on Oscar. PLEASE drive the odds up against Mayweather as far as you possibly can. That fight willl happen a few months before I have to go back to university, so hopefully I can pay off my student loans with the money I win by betting on FLoyd.
