View Full Version : Brady or Manning?
MMAsterkillah 11-01-2006, 02:45 AM Brady by Armbar!
No, really though. They are both great quarterbacks and have different styles. One has a great cast, while the other one just wins baby. Who do you prefer? and Who would you want in the last 2 minutes of a ballgame?
dDuecy 11-01-2006, 02:52 AM Manning TKO by strikes
Ŧħє Łєшãŋđσẅsķį 11-01-2006, 03:06 AM Is it in the Playoffs or Superbowl, if so Brady, but if in the regular season,Peyton Manning easily.
Subroc 11-01-2006, 03:27 AM Brady until Manning can prove that he can win the big games in the playoffs.
jbatesball 11-01-2006, 07:29 AM Peyton, easy! Sure, Brady is a Hall of Famer, he has won the big games...He is a stud! But, if I could have one of them, it is Manning and it aint even close!

you just owned yourself.
manning will be a dan marino type, great individual numbers but cant get it done in the clutch.
While Brady is the Joe montana type, doesnt need to put up great numbers while performing like a legend when it matters most.
If you like individual numbers and records then Manning is your man, but if u actually like success and championships, then its brady no doubt.
Internet Predator 11-02-2006, 05:41 PM Manning w/o a doubt
onthebrink2 11-07-2006, 07:45 AM Manning. I would have him call all his own plays and wouldn't even need an offensive coordinator.
lcook 11-07-2006, 03:39 PM Manning loses by "choke" in the playoffs

Quarterbacks are defined by their wins especially in the playoffs. Look at how people viewed John Elway up until he won his superbowls. People would always bring up his ability to win games in the fouth quarter followed by "but never won the big one." Dan Marino is the perfect example of this as CHE pointed out. No matter how many games he won he has never won a superbowl and people always remember that. Brady authough I hate him has shown the ability to be clutch while the Colts win 14 games a year and always lose to the playoffs by rear naked choke.
crentist 11-08-2006, 01:50 AM It's funny how no one ever hates on a guy like Barry Sanders or Marvin Harrison just because they haven't won the bowl. It's a team effort and the team wins it or loses it. Bottom line is that Manning and Brady are great QBs that any team would take in a second. Manning is part of the Colts and the Colts lost, not just him.
jotun 11-17-2006, 12:53 AM being on a good team and making a team good are two different things....manning all the way!

Manning also has a ridiculous supporting cast.
2 Pro Bowl WRs (both 1st rd picks)
Edge James just left replaced by 1st rd pick Joseph Addai
Pro Bowl LT Tarik Glenn and great O-Line
1st rd pick Dallas Clark at TE
And he cant win the big game? Whose fault is that?
Also, yes the defense hasn't been "great" every year, but last year they played very well, and they still didnt get it done!
Also, Manning threw 4 picks against the Pats in the playoffs a cpl years back (3 by Law)... if it wasnt for that, colts cud of won.
Brady PWNs even tho hes been struggling lately, our team sucks. We have no legit WRs, an injured O-LINE and awful play calls lately!

I hate people that piss and moan about shit like this, and still don't address the question.

yeah, and on top of that Barry sanders didnt have shit around him. he had a terrible QB, all of them that he played wit, a weak OL(yet he still racked up over 15,000 yards in only 10 seasons), in a run and shoot offense no less(for those who dont know what that is, its a pass friendly offense wit either 3-4 WR's and only 1 RB), and a joke for a Defense. Put Barry on the Dallas team wit all the Hall of Famers and great OL. He;d have 20,000 yards 5 MVP's and 4 Super Bowl championships, plain and simple.
QB's run their tteam and evey1 feeds off them, RB's are limited by whats around them, manning has a bomb squad around him. Barry had a pathetic team around him.
MANvsTREE 11-30-2006, 08:18 PM brady is more clutch than my stick shift. brady all the way.
FightClub 11-30-2006, 11:53 PM Brady without a doubt.
