Insiders believe it to be lower than 20,000 buys
The exhibition fight between Mike Tyson and Corey Saunders registered less than 20,000 PPV buys last Saturday, October 21st, on HBO. That’s what boxing world insiders believe. That rate is considered to be very poor. One sympton of the bad result is that the actual numbers still haven't been released.
Another boxing show that did not go well at the PPV buys was Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy's "Mexican Glory" card. Although numbers were not released as well, insiders believe that results were similar to Tyson’s.
