I'm sure I could tell you but for some reason that vid has frozen my computer twice already.
That looks like the kick Shogun threw at the start of his fight against Arona.

at my taekwondo club we call it a spinning turning kick lol
my instructor is korean and doesnt have good english...but ive also heard it called a hurricane kick. its meant to trick ur opponent into thinking ur going to throw a back kick or a spinning hook kick but its very tricky to pull of with that speed and power. thats from the korean national championships which im hoping to go and watch with my instructor next year :D
i think it would work in mma at that speed...especially if thrown by crocop etc

Its a regular "run of the mill" jumping roundhouse kick. He just turned around before it was thrown. Seen that before at kick boxing matches. We used to do something similar to that in my Kempo classes. Except we would throw a spinning back fist first, then follow with the jumping roundhouse. Kind of awkward and takes some getting used to. With some practice you can really get good power with both the back fist and the kick. Its also good for switching from a southpaw to traditional stance or vice versa.
