I need someone who is interested to do a 30 min long weekly mma radio show for the site.

Basically the show is yours and you can call it what you want but theres going to be a link to it on this site. I will not only post the show here but I will post a link to it on various mma forums when there is a new show. As the site grows so will your fame. This could be a chance to break into the business. All you need is a microphone and some seriously biased opinions that will piss people off and create controversy.

I don't care if you sound gay or like you have down syndrome, that could be funny.

Auditions will start now, please an audio session at least 4 minutes long.

Well I don't know the technical aspects of doing a broadcast as described. However an idea for what the show could be , maybe a common chat room ventrilo server and broadcast that. To take the pressure off one person bring in a few voices from the boards for mma discussion which would be informal but also have someone to keep it segmented and focussed and stop it degenerating into a mess.
Maybe a music break in the middle.

ive got it planned already, intro music, my first segment will be talking about news and laughing at stupid posts, goes to some music, then 15 more minutes of me talking to superstars like Chuck Liddel and Fedor

I just realized I do have a sound recorder so Id consider it. I am a communications major and am going to get my grad degree in sports management, so most likely im looking at either a sports journalist/broadcasting job unless i can get into management

Just talk about recent happenings and matchups you wanna see or matchups that you have seen. Its pretty much just a vocal column, you can even prewrite a script. Remember these ones only gotta be 4 minutes.

Yeah that was kinda hard to hear but it sounded proffesional. I think you and xhale would do a good job together. Maybe you guys could record a ventrillo session and different posters could guest star and eventually fighters.

sounds wicked...maybe each week you could do a member profile. you could set questions (ie: favourite fighter, if you train, predictions for upcoming matches or comments on current affairs) and members could send theirs in and you could edit it to pretend your interviewing or something lol

iv done 1 30 min show, and a bunch of little 5 min topic clips with no music... the 30 min show has music and stuff... sounds pretty good, but im not radio expert so im not sure..

every thing is set up for a live show, i was thinking i could try and do a test run on sat before the gsp hughes fight... run a few tests and try to get it up and running. iv already ran test with people connecting to ventrillo and running two-three man tests. so its all good if anyone (mmasterk, eamer, etc) wants to co-host.

ifyou search through this thread there are only mini clips of peoples tryouts bascially... im going to record my first show this weekend (due to finals and such) and my first live broadcast was schedualed for UFC 65... but due to technical problems i wasnt able to broadcast... so now the live broadcast is going to be ready for UFC 66, and hopfully everyhting goes as planned
