I woke up one morning and walked to the backyard. Behind my house lies cemetery. I looked down to what I thought were goat tracks in the snow. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that they were not made by a goat since they looked like they were made by a bi-pedal animal. I measured the tracks and traced them; they looked like they were made by an animal with two legs. I walked over to the gate and the tracks were coming out of a mausoleum. This mausoleum was at the end of the cemetery apart from all the other graves. I showed my brother and he ran like a little girl. I wish I had taken pictures but I didn't. The prints were gone after the snow melted. I heard of similar prints appearing around the country. I don't know what it was, but I didn't tell people it was the Devil because it could have been a person with small deformed feet running around back there.
Has anyone here heard of this or just me.

That was the strangest thing I have ever seen for which I have not found an explanation. I have never seen orbs of light though. But I have heard some strange things in that cemetery. One night, my cousin and set up some cans and were shooting BBs into the cemetery. We heard sounds like someone was running around in the dark; saw no one and keeped shooting. Then we heard moans. My cousin gave me a look but we keeped shooting. But when my gun ran out of BBs I didn't reload. When he asked me if I still had BBs I said no. We than walked away calmly and slowly as I was trying not to jiggle the can of BBs I still had in my pocket.

My brother in law told me a story about when he was a teenager and was in some small mountain town visiting family. It was night time and he and some other guy some some light in the woods and went to see what it was and he said that he saw these little goat people/demons dancing around a fire. They got scared and left but went back the next day during daylight and he said that they found evidence of a fire and little hoof prints like what the OP described

You weren't smoking and playing with the ouiji board were you? j/k
I've heard of similar stuff but it is still a little hard to believe. Being on the U.S.-Mexico border, I have friends who go to Mex to see brujas (pronounced broo-hass), "certified" witches for various reasons. These brujas are sometimes of the black or dark craft. And although I don't believe them, they still scare the hell out of me.

Are brujas the same as curanderas? I've never heard of people going to brujas but I know people who go to curanderas for healing. I live a few hours from the border in Albuquerque so we have a lot of that stuff too.

Curanderas do the healing-arthritis, pregnancy problems, etc. and even "curse" lifting, but my friend who used to be a major player in the d_pe trade used to go for wild shit like, prayer for a good d_pe run and cursing rival dealers. The d_pe game is crazy shit.
You kind find more info by researching at this link http://ojinaga.com/store/curanderos/
It's not a great link but you'll be able to branch out...

There is a video of a bruja "flying" around in Northern Mexico. Has anyone seen this?

100%. The tracks were made by something with two legs. That's what cought my attention. When I first saw them I thought deer, then I looked closer. I noticed that they looked different and the pattern was different. They didn't look like aquirrel, horse, cat, dog or mouse tracks. And they were not human.
I started looking into that and I found stories about it. People talked about finding tracks burnt on the ground and on the sides of buildings.
where are you from?if you dont mind my asking?

They started in the cemetery, the thing jumped the fence onto my backyard, then it jumped the fence on to my neighbor's property. He didn't have that much snow on his backyard and I lost them back there.

It could have been a two-legged goat, but not a dog though. If it happens again this Winter I'll take pictures and put them on the net. I have gone back there after every snow fall the past 6 years and checked but all I have found are cat or squirrel tracks.
Sounds fucked up,I cant think of anything reasonable to explain it,only thing that comes to mind is,its New York...lots of weird shit happens in New York.Could be a hookers camel toe or something, who knows.

Why is it assumed that the devil has goat legs?
Good question... I think it started with Pan the God of nature.
