in this video you see during the training part at beginning and around 1:30 cro cop doing back extensions makes me think he does that a lot, i wonder if he really does it a lot and the reasoning behind doing those so much. think it helps you kick harder? I understand it might just be part of regulkar training but the video leads you to believe he does it a lot.

Lower back excercises are essential since like your mid section they support your upper body.
Kicking power is mainly from the hips and how strong your legs are.

That is all part of core training. The stronger the core...the stronger you are in more ways that you would imagine.
