What kind of games do you like? Oblivion is the best game, but there are a bunch of good ones now.

I have a wide range of tastes. I just like games that have a good controls. Shooters that have good aiming, driving games that don't over or understeer.

Need for speed. Burnout is a good racing game. Dead Rising is a lot of fun, Call of Duty 3 was an awesome WWII first person shooter.

Oh, and I strongly suggest a Gamefly membership. Perfect for video games b/c if it sucks you can send it right back and if you like it, you can play it until you beat it. You also can buy games for much cheaper than you'd get them in the store and you get discounts and shit the longer you are with them. Their delivery times are not as fast as Netflix's are, but I have had the 2 game at a time plan for almost 2 years and it is my main source for video games.

me and my bf have one of those game things at blockbuster... like $25 a month I think, but you can rent anything for any system. only thing is they want a credit card or bank card for it, but theres no mailing time... I think you get the games for like 5-7 days though, but usually you can just re rent them. oh, ya, you can only have one at a time.

Oblivion is a must no matter what kind of games your into IMO. Its simply a must.

Other than that, yes you should go by what you like. Saints Row is incredibly fun and great if you liked the GTA series.

Hitman: Blood Money is an awesome game if you like shooters with strategy and multiple routes of execution.

Ghost Recon and Oblivion, those are really the only two must haves. But Splinter Cell is coming out this week and Gears of War next month.

Gears of War comes out next month. its a 3rd person shooter that takes advantage of the 360's power and uh......Phantasy Star Universe is an MMO if your a nerd who likes paying 10$ a month to play with millions of other ppl at the same time.

The two best games on the Xbox 360 in my opinion is Oblivion and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. I would also highly suggest Fight Night Round 3 if you enjoy boxing. The controls are great and fighting people online is very addicting.
