Gotta respect nature in the works but dam, it sucks to know that the sperm whales went out with a slow painful death. In respect for the sperm whales, I hope they give the orcas the squirts for many days....

The Killer whales come and swim near the Ferry between The City Of Vancouver and The City of Victoria(Major city on Vancouver Island(Vancouver and Vancouver Island are two different places)). I've seen them many times and they definitely come just to show off.

The captain will announce they're out there and the whole ferry will move to one side and when I was younger I would get scared that we would tip over but of course that never happened.

Those fucking Orca's are smart affectionate fuckers but I don't think I would want to pet one Free Willy style.

I watched a show on PBS a few years ago about orcas. Back when whaling was still big (early 1900s i think) a group of orca actually helped whalers hunt for blue whales. The group of orcas would circle a blue whale and one would go to the whalers and lead them there. Then the whalers would spear it to death and then tie it to bouyees (sp?) so it wouldn't sink and leave it for a night. The orcas would only eat the eyes and the tongue of the blue whale and then leave the rest for the whalers. It was fucking amazing how smart these animals are.

Yeah I seen that it was fuckin crazy. I'm pretty sure it wasnt a Blue Whale but some other kind, it was still one of the bigger types of whales though.

I remember one part where one of the fishermen fell out of one of the boats and the Orcas were protecting him from sharks.

Crazy shit to say the least.

The bonobo was awesome, it could boil water and make it's own raman noodle soup.
