Lightweight champion will devote to boxing promoter career
Four time world champion, Acelino "Popo" Freitas announced today that he will retire. According to the Brazilian boxer, his last fight was the victory over American Zahir Raheem, last April 29th, when he won his forth world title, now for the WBO.
Popo said that he always wanted to end his career at 30 years old. " Now, I´m going to devote to my boxing promoter career and to my social projects," explained Freitas.
