The first video would have been cooler if it was full speed and the guy in the yellow was actually trying to harm him.
The technique is aesthetically pleasing. The second video displays this very well, but it just isn't practical.

Like I have stated before. This martial art , along with every other, gives you great confidence and most of the techniques work very well on the street against the common asshole that will start shit with you. Once most people start training any kind of Martial Art or MMA they generally quit picking fights and get off on just laughing at thhe people starting the shit.

I was thinking about they way Sudo was fighting Masato. He was using crazy tactics to throw off a technical striker. I was thinking that must have been the original intent behind styles like drunken boxing. Sudo landed alot of shots because Masoto wasnt used to defending such strange movements. I think the crazy movements are something you use to compliment your power and reflexes already gained from hours of sparring. If you only practice by yourself doing forms then its just a dance.

Looks like a decent art, but it would prolly be hard to find a good instructor for shalion kung-fu

There is (ot at least was) a video on youtube with Shaolin guy sparring with TKD guy. It's quite interesting.
I consider Shaolin kung fu in general very interesting. They go through hard training like no-one else and their moves seem good in comparison to many kung fu styles.

There is no real Kung Fu in the USA, its all taught by scam artists. You people have no idea the concepts of true Kung Fu that was tested in competition and the battlefield for thousands of years.

I'm pretty sure the second video is actually a Tai Chi or Shingi form. The first one that monk looks good but how strong is he?

You sir are an idiot. I can trace my Wing Chun roots back to it's founders.
