Just wondering if there are any fans here of the book and the following series.
My grandmother bought it for me from a cheap dollar store about 8 years ago,and it sat in my room for literally,3 months before I got bored and read it.And it was fucking awesome. My grandmother rules, even though she had no idea what she was buying.

Yep. Love that series, but Ender's Game is the best of them all. I've re-read it several times. It's actually in the drawer next to me at work, right now.

That's awesome.I've re-read it multiple times as well, and I agree that it is the best in the series.Have you gotten the new Ender's Exile?I'm reading it now,but it's going slow bc I don't really set time aside to read.

No. I have about 6 books still to read. So I cannot pick up anything new until I start to catch up.

ender's game is awesome. all of the ender's shadow games suck, however. i feel like all those new ones are all dumbed down to appeal to little kids. the ones about achilles and lke anton's key or what not. those are all retarded.
however, ender's game, speaker for the dead, xenocide and children of the mind are all excellent.
i've read tem all multiple times. the philosophical issues that are raised are very profound as well as the idfferent sci-fi themes. good stuff.

The movie has been in developmental hell forever.Last I heard Wolfgang Peterson, the guy that directed A Perfect Storm was attached to direct. But that was a long time ago.

Great book. I only read the first one, but it was very emotionally attaching. I really felt for that character, and that goes for all of Card's books.
