IN K-1 it is Ernesto Hoost hands down, he holds impressive victories over every big name that ever went through K-1 and won the Grand Prix 4 times (a record that probably will never be equaled), and a lot of the guys he fought had 25-50 pounds on him.

Seems like most people think Hoost and buakaw.

Hoost-Andy ( R.I.P)- Peter Aerts-Buakaw.

Buakaw is a phenom, but I don't think there is anywhere near the depth in K-1 MAX now that there was during K-1's golden age ('96-'02) when Hoost dominated. Hoost KO'ed big punchers like Bernardo and Le Banner, he outfoxed technical fighters like Hug and Maurice Smith, and he never lost a fight to a guy who wasn't a star in his own right.

For some reason, Andre the Giant was the first person to pop into my mind, and I have no idea why. That was just really weird, thought I'd share it. Upon closer consideration, I'd agree with the aforementioned responses, Ernesto Hoost.

Stefan Raab. No doubt about it.

That wasn't his best performance though. I think it was the altitude or maybe he didn't get any sleep the night before.
