Finally an honest look into the steroid world. These days in order to compete with your peers/teammates, you almost have to take some sort of performance e nhancing drugs. If you don’t, you’ll fall behind. Standard case of “keeping up with the Jones’s”. I feel it is very obvious to the world and sports fans that this is going on, but NO ONE is honest about it! And when one guy gets busted, he’s looked down upon and singled out. Not fair to single them out and criticize when everyone else on the team is doing it.

I've watched this & I found it really interesting, very Michael Moore-ish, but less cynical.

This is not a good example, but...
Back in the day when people knew little my masters told us never to weight train. So a few guys did it anyway and guess what ... They had more power then everyone else. So other started doing that not to fall behind.
Steroids is not the same as weight training, but both are prohibited and both help to enhance, and people do both not to fall behind.

The only thing is that the movie does more to advocate use, and more so illegal use, than it does for intelligent use.

It was a nice soft look for the mainstream, who have never been allowed to see real world steroid takers and thier problems, Instead of the harsh cynical way it is usualy reported, in which they pick the worst side affects or jsut let a bunch idots who have never trained or never taken steroids flap thier mouth.
I felt a little sorry for thier mom when that dude fesses up to juicing,LoL.

I find it funny how some people are so open to the camera acting as if nobody will find out. Like the guy saying he hasn't told his mother he's juicing. Well buddy I'm sure she's going to watch her son's doco.

That makes me think the parts for effect were staged.

I accidentally dl'd this because I confused it with DeFranco's Strong, which I'm still waiting for!

I thought it was a pretty good flick. I especially liked the part where they made the supplements. I know 98% are just like this, but it was funny to see it in real action.
