View Full Version : MP3 troubles
Bloodshot {ADR} 09-05-2008, 05:35 AM I bought one acouple years ago, it stopped working. So I bought one acouple months ago, and it stopped working. Can you transfer viruses from computer to your MP3 player? Maybe I just have bad luck with these things, but I'm just praying I can trade it in for a new one. Any clue?
Bloodshot {ADR} 09-05-2008, 05:38 AM This one's a phillips, my other was a sony. My first one clicked when you turned it on with no progress, while my new one wont even turn on. I shut it off before I went in the store, came back out, tried to turn it on, and FAIL.
sounds to me like you just have bad luck. i wish i could actually see it, i might be able to help.
Is it flat on the bottom,to make for a nice skippin' stone?

I don't pack it around with me everywhere I go, of course it works. I love my MP3 player, it only makes sense that it would die.

I'm sure that would void the return policy, but what the heck..

henry 09-07-2008, 10:56 AM It could be from not disconnecting properly. i would try holding down the power button for fifteen seconds and then see what happens.

tropicana619 09-07-2008, 12:15 PM I think you walked through a metal detector at the store, and it mesed up the electronics inside of it.
ferg [ADR] 09-07-2008, 09:47 PM you can't transfer viruses to it. it's not running windows. it likely is using a subset of the linux kernel.
