So I got back from camp, and called my Muay Thai coach. He told me that i'm fighting this guy who is 95lbs. I thought to myself that it would be a peice of cake, but he said not to underestimate him, because he is very good and has lots of heart. He fought one of my buddies which i think he is really good. When i watched the fight, it was pretty even, even with the 35lbs weight advantage.

any tips or anything on beating him?

its a San Shou fight. I am 125lbs, so i have the height and weight advantage.

2 things.

1. Use your reach and stay outside
2. Work inside and clinch the shit out of him...make him try to move your heavier frame around, then use your strength to throw him.

Thanks for the great advice. Usually i am the smaller guy, so i've never really fought a smaller guy than me.

turns out the date has been moved to Oct. 25

Whenever you clinch lean your weight on him... It will put stress on him to support you
