I rank him #3 behind Hagler and Monzon (and YES, above Sugar Ray Robinson who I think had his better days at Welterweight, and I can't comment on Harry Greb becuase I haven't seen the motherfucker fight). B-Hop had it all IMO, skill and knowledge with the discipline to match it. There were middleweights who probably fought tougher compedition and of course there were MWs who fought more fights, but no one had Bhop's longevity.
Too many people try to diminish his accomplishments. Tito had just DESTROYED a huge, top tier middleweight in William Joppy before his fight with Hopkins, so saying he was too small or didn't have his power at 160 is rediculous. The compedition he beat is severely underrated IMO.
So how do you guys see Bhop? I'm sick of not seeing him in people's top 10s, and I'm sick of seeing guys like Jake LaMotta (who I am a big fan of) showing up in ATM lists before him.
