PS - i also read somewhere that people who practice yoga experience better sex :D
If it makes women more flexible I'm all for it.

Yoga can certainly increase strength. It's also a good way to improve mental strength.

I actually do a yoga routine every night before I go to sleep, just download a bunch of yoga tapes from torrent. I dont really follow any routine, I just sort of do the positions as I remember them. Dont neglect the fact that yoga is first and foremost a breathing exercise.
Getting yoga tapes with sexy chicks motivates you.
my friends mom does some type of yoga he says she needs less sleep than normal people because of the breathing involved.
i also want to work on breathing to increase lung capacity for surfing.

Nope it elongates muscles over time and increases the stretch shortening cycle...thus your ability for explosive speed and power are diminished as to strength might help out with injury prevention and it puts you in a healthy state of mind and such but as to increasing power its a negative

You know I think Yoga is a good thing. It does help in BJJ helping with a lot of positions and overall flexibility. Thing how much it would help you in the rubber guard. It also strengthens a persons mind set. A tough position might not seem as tough with this. Although you do get a lot of shit from your friends.
Try it sometime. It's probably the best thing you can do for your body. There are different styles, Ashtanga is difficult and will actually build a lot of muscle. It's great for balance and strengthening your core muscles too.
Find a class packed with hot chicks. There's nothing gay about working out with hot chicks in revealing outfits, bending over, spreading their legs and squeezing their tits together.
