o yea, ever since their black album, been garbage ever since..

my rankings for metallica albums:

2. kill em all
3. ride the lightning
4. and justice for all
5. S&M Everything below top5 suck (im sure most people didn't like S&M, but i liked the incorporation of a full orchestra live)
6. Metallica(black album)
7. Garage Inc.
8. St. Anger
9. Reload
10. Load

Yeah sad to to say I am a big metallica fan and yes after black album they went down hill with only a few good songs out of load and re load and st anger being the only good song off of st anger.

There new music well so far one of there new songs is alright and the other one they released is shit...so time will tell but I think had there day.

So sad.

I am sad to say but there new shit anywhere near the likes of ride the lighting.

why did they record st. anger with such shitty quality especially the drums. clearly during that album music was not the priority.

Yeah, Metallica sold out pretty badly, but they sure as hell helped the metal scene back in the 80's.

Honestly I didnt like St.Anger all that much, but one night i was downloading some metallica and i accidently downloaded the song : Shoot Me Again, and i love the song. It's honestly the best song off of St.Anger and i listen to it regularly because its awesome, give it a listen.

Kill Em' All is my personal favorite, but I'll still take Megadeth over Metallica any day.
