What do you think Oscar's legacy will be. Yes he is an all time great, but how does he match up against the other great welter and middle weight fighters?

Here are a few observations I would like to make.

First of all you can make a strong argument that no fighter in boxing history has fought against the high level of competition that Oscar did.

Check out the number of fighters he fought who held tittles and their records at the time he met them in the ring. It's truly amazing the level of competition he has faced. This is something you have to consider when determining where he ranks among the all time greats.

Second, of his 5 loses I only believe 3 were earned. His loss to Trinidad and Mosley the second time were complete bullsh!t if you ask most people. In-fact I'm almost positive they found out one of the judges in the second Mosley fight was on the take.

He'll go down as an ATG, I'm not sure where but there has been very few guys who have had as many big money fights as him, if at all. The guy was a star before he had his first pro fight. Awesome fighter with an awesome resume.

He played all his cards right and probably has, in terms of money made as opposed to damage taken, had the greatest career of all time.

One of the richest or the richest boxer turned promoter in current times, six class world champion. I think his legacy is cement enough.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy either. Great guy, kept out of trouble, kept his nose clean, always went for the big challenges.
