I just watched the first episode. Its pretty good. HBO normally does cool fucking shows about everything and anything.

I think people will like this show.

Anyone else seen it?

Lost interest half-way through the first episode...most of it was dead dialogue in cars / tents that goes nowhere. The commander who was WHISPERING EVERYTHING made me crack up, though.

Band Of Brothers is better.

You saw half of the first episode...

LMAO!!!

You might want to watch the second episode. Theres a reason they set up the first episode as they do.

For one, thats how that war was. A lot of waiting around and then no payoff. Blue balls all the time. Check out the movie Jarhead. Same idea.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure this is based on a real group of marines. Thirdly, if you know anything about this war then you would know that the invasion was the easy part and the policing the next 6 years afterwards was the real hard part.

It looks eerily sad. I'm going to DVR it and give it a go.
