Voodoosteamboat 07-22-2008, 03:08 AM no, never tried it, i figure ill start with about 100 pounds? blevunly 07-22-2008, 03:09 AM depends on the purpose. conditioning or to run faster? Judoka 07-22-2008, 05:00 AM get a parachute. u cant "sprint" with 100 extra lbs, you could walk fast but definitely not sprint. Parachute is the way to go. About $40 at academy. hotnewton 07-22-2008, 05:09 AM Parachute FTW Tom Stall 07-22-2008, 05:23 AM you should just sprint regularly first.... before u buy an apparatus..... hotnewton 07-22-2008, 05:35 AM agreed. Tom Stall 07-22-2008, 05:36 AM why buy all these expensive weight vests and parachutes before you even sprint by yourself. its a pretty tough chore by itself if done right.... ItBurnzWhenIP 07-22-2008, 06:42 AM You can sprint with 100 extra lbs... It ain't good for you and you gotta build up to it but its definately doable. I've sprinted with that much on me before. IT SUCKS Judoka 07-22-2008, 07:29 AM yeah definitely get used to sprinting first before making it harder. Leftcard 07-28-2008, 06:20 PM Nay, I had a friend who used to run with ankle weights and his knee was permanately injured said the doctor said it was caz dah weights. Even running without weights is bad enough for your knees... why try to mess it up even more?.. ItBurnzWhenIP 07-29-2008, 08:02 AM ^Correct tropicana619 07-30-2008, 08:46 PM Excellent, Leftcard. aKiedis 07-31-2008, 04:34 AM Do intervals - that is hard stuff. And excellent for burning fat (even better than just plain ol' distance running). vBulletin® v3.7.4, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. |
